Subcommittee
This subcommittee will be comprised of planning, policy
development and
treatment provider staff from many of the organizations represented on the SLC.
The Youth Treatment Lead will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating
the research and development related to the needs assessment and the strategic
plan.
Goals
- The goals of this committee are to prepare a state
strategic plan to guide the
development of coordinated substance abuse treatment for youth residing in
Washington State.
- To support a state wide needs assessment that
assesses the current level of
cross-system planning among agencies and organizations serving youth with
substance abuse problems.
- Identifies the gaps in services and barriers to
coordination.
- Identify services and resources that can be shared
among and between systems
treating adolescents with substance abuse problems and their families.
- Share the results with the Leadership Council and
community and develop a plan
for promoting ongoing, self-sustaining cross-system planning.
Objectives
