Statewide Leadership Council

The members of this group will be key directors from each of the programs,
individuals who have the authority to direct funding, staff and activities to this
effort.

Goals

• Goals are to oversee, advise and strategize on how DASA can enhance
  and improve the existing adolescent substance abuse treatment system.

Objectives

• Improve the State-wide coordination and integration of substance abuse
  treatment.
• Enhance cross system planning.
• Expand knowledge and resources.
• Build capacity to provide effective, accessible and coordinated services.
• Will be composed of diverse segments of the State including youth and
  family consumers.
• Integrate representation from youth substance abuse treatment services
  including youth and family consumers.
• Assist with Statewide needs assessment and strategic plan.
• Will participate in selecting key subcommittee members to work on
  specific target issues who will report findings and recommendations to the
  statewide leadership council.
