Youth and Family Recovery Subcommittee

The Youth and Family Sub Committee was formed after the first
Leadership Council meeting to ensure that we have family partnerships
at all levels of the grant work.

Goals

• To represent youth and families.
• Carry the message of recovery to consumers.
• To promote cultural competency and honor diversity.
• Promote training for parent advocacy.
• Identify areas of improvement in the delivery system.
• Ensure all committees have youth and family represented.
• To explore ways to build family support groups at community,
  city, region and state levels.

Objectives

• To define what a family support group would do.
• Ways to recruit group members.
• Ways to create sustainability within the group.

Explore ways to support youth and family involvement in all aspects of the
CSAT Grant.
